Vintique East West Set Semi Bezel Natural Sapphire and Bezel Set Diamond Clusters, 18ct White and Yellow Gold, size O or 7.25
Vintique East West Set Semi Bezel Natural Sapphire and Bezel Set Diamond Clusters, 18ct White and Yellow Gold, size O or 7.25
This gorgeous vintage ring feels like it could have been modern made - the mixed metal and east west setting are so en-vogue just now. But she is old - at least 50 years old (pre 1973) and we would suspect she might even be a 50s baby. The hallmarks and the sapphire both suggest that this is Australian - the navy stones with the blue sparkle in the sunshine are classic Australian sapphire colours. Semi bezel set in 18ct white gold, the east west setting is highlighted by the trilogy of bezel set diamonds on each side in a raised setting. From the side this elongated setting is reinforced by the yellow gold shoulders which rise to meet the diamonds. There is space under the white gold basket for a band to sit flush to the yellow gold ring, and there is evidence of this on both sides. This ring would need to be fairly low profile - the gap is approx 1mm.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.
