Vintique Diamond Toi et Moi, with Filigree, 18ct White Gold and Platinum, size 6.25 or M
Vintique Diamond Toi et Moi, with Filigree, 18ct White Gold and Platinum, size 6.25 or M
This beautiful ring is the epitome of hand crafted romantic love tokens from the 1930s. Made as a "toi et moi" - the french for you and me, this ring is a hand crafted statement of love between two souls - forever entwined in the newest of metals - this piece screams of the inspiration from the Edwardian and Art Deco eras. The two diamonds are early brilliants - and show how amazing the first half of the 20th Century was - moving with the times - new metals, new ways of cutting stones - and all combined in this ring.
The diamonds are fairly well matched - one is slightly more included than the other - but both approx 3.25mm (approx 0.13ct each) and the common claw centre means they sit nicely close to each other - which has a lovely aspect from the top.
The hand carved filigree gallery is stunning and ornate - and is one of the reasons we say that this ring is not very sizeable. Just look at the craftsmanship to pierce and then style those lines and curves - what a craftsman.
This ring has had its tips re-done at some point in its lifetime and that is amazing - as it offers it another lease of life to be loved by you.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.
