Bezel set turquoise cabochons always make us think of Jane Austen. Now we know, we know - the stone probably wasn't turquoise (just a turquoise colour) and it was bezel set in gold - but you will see the similarities and how our literary minds wander to our favourite authors.
This gorgeous cabochon of turquoise is vibrant in its aqua hues, and it has the most lovely delicate matrix marbling across its surface. We love the way the natural stone has these amazing grey black inclusions - individual like birthmarks. This round cabochon is held in a chunky silver bezel with graduated decreasing hoops of silver underneath.
The band is hooped in the shoulders and chunky in its width and profile. A super comfy ring on the hand - and just the most glorious colour combination. The silver and turquoise tones are subtle and sing in a fabulous harmony.
Particulars:
Size Q or just over 8 (sizeable)
Weight 7.3g

Condition stone is natural - there are some chips along the matrix where the stone is softer - so these bits have come out - please see photos. Metal is chunky and fabulous, but there are surface marks and scratches - all just cosmetic - but noting them here. Band is slightly out of shape - slightly oval in profile - very comfy on the hand.
Care - As a general rule - jewellery should not be worn for strenuous tasks that may put pressure, chemicals and weight on them (think cleaning, gym, swimming/spa, carrying things). Jewellery should be inspected checked every six months by a jeweller to check for wear.
Please be aware that this item is pre-loved and therefore is NOT new. Please see the pictures and description to ensure you are happy with it before you buy. Stones may have tiny marks, chips or flea bites, metal will have marks of wear like surface scratches; but any bigger flaws will be clearly highlighted above. Also note - none of the other items or props in the photo come with the item and all measurements are approximate.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.
Current prices are: $40 for sizing down, $40 for rhodium plating (all white gold rings), and sizing up starts at $50 - and depends on the carat of gold, width of band and number of sizes. These are subject to change at any time and remain linked to the volatile changes in precious metals.
Time frames - sizing is usually complete within 3 weeks.

Lay-by is available on all full price items (sale items can be bought on a split payment).
