Chunky chunky reclaimed gold and amazing natural parti sapphires.

These beauties have come about as sometimes we have bought pieces that are just beyond repair. Instead of refining them, we have used them to make these chunky bands and set them with one of our favourite stones.

Now both of these are flat profiled, one tapers its width and the other remains chunky the whole way around. Can we make them a more rounded profile - sure! That is the delight of custom - we can make them to your desire. Look at the edges of the rings and you will see that the trilogy has a polish finish and the five stone has a brushed finish - all of these things are customisable. 

With reclaimed gold there is limits though - we have to have good margins of gold, we are governed by the height of the stone in the minimum depth of the ring, and they can only be made in 9ct yellow gold. But as you can see from these two rings, the colour does vary from gold to pale rosey gold - it is all about what we melt. 

Prices are driven by the gold amount - these two are both over 11g of gold, the stone quantity and size, the choice of stone (we are looking at other options - but not for the next few months) and the width and size of the ring. 

We have priced the two rings made (one of which was made as a custom order for an amazing customer from the start) so that you can see approximate costs - but you will need to get in touch and we can get you a quote (which you are not obliged to follow through on - we are firm believers in the choice and being governed by the heart) - that is unless the trilogy is your Cinderella slipper - as she is available right now - as she is!

Size Q - fits between 1 and 1.5 sizes smaller - it is pretty good on my O1/2 finger 

Weight 11.9g 

Width 7.6 x 2.8mm tapering to 7 x 1.6mm 

Features - 3 x 4mm natural parti sapphires 

Hallmarks  - none - not done on reclaimed gold - but it is 9ct yellow gold 

Condition - these are rustic - they are all made by hand - no machines - the thicker one even has a join mark as it is so hard to heat that thickness of gold to the exact temp. You can have the more polished finish of the trilogy or the brushed look of the five stone.

FAQ

Sizing

What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.

We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.

Lay-by

As well as Afterpay and Paypal Pay-in-4 which are available at checkout, we also do traditional lay-by.

So, if you love this piece but can't afford it right now - please get in touch.  

To secure your item, we require a 20% non-refundable deposit. Items will not be removed from the website until this is paid.

Following this, you will need to make further monthly payments of 20% until the full balance is complete, a time frame of 5 months in total. 

Invoices will be issued at the start of each month and we ask they are paid before the start of the following month.

We issue all invoices through the website, and it accepts all cards, Shop Pal, Paypal and Afterpay as payment.

Valuations

Some of our items come with valuations we either got with the piece, or that we have had done by an independent gemologist. We do not get valuations done on all pieces as we like to keep things as affordable as possible. However, we use a number of instruments to help us determine stones and list these details in the description of each piece.

Shipping

We ship for free to the following countries: Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada and the UK.

Australian shipping is express post and fully insured.

International items under $500 are shipped standard airmail and items over $500 express airmail.

All items are sent trackable, fully insured and requiring a signature on delivery.

Any items leaving Australia will have a signed customs declaration stating what is in the box.
