This is a glorious statement in black and gold. Black diamond solitaires are one of the most requested modern rings we get asked for - and it is not hard to see why. A stone with great hardness (9.25 for moissanite and 10 for diamond), a lovely twist on the classic white solitaire, and then combo of black and gold - magical. Diamonds and moissanites are normally easily told apart by the double refraction of moissanite - except this stone we can't see into - so we have called it a moissanite to be safe - but it could indeed be a treated black diamond.
Held in a 6 claw setting this is a fabulous soliatire that stacks well and is a real statement on the hand.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.
Current prices are: $40 for sizing down, $40 for rhodium plating (all white gold rings), and sizing up starts at $50 - and depends on the carat of gold, width of band and number of sizes. These are subject to change at any time and remain linked to the volatile changes in precious metals.
Time frames - sizing is usually complete within 3 weeks.
