1930s Art Deco Inspired Platinum and 18ct Gold Solitaire Ring, size N or almost 6.75
1930s Art Deco Inspired Platinum and 18ct Gold Solitaire Ring, size N or almost 6.75
This beautiful 1930s ring is heavily influenced by the Art Deco movement making this ring such a lovely example of the period style. The Art Deco Era is known for its strong and bold geometric shapes the round brilliant diamond is held carefully in a platinum illusion setting in a square face. The shoulders are strong and the detailing is precise in its use of dots and lines. The gallery is then in lovely contrasting 18ct yellow gold (wasn’t the 1930s just amazing for mixing these two glorious metals?). The angular arrow and triangle carved into each side is fabulously Art Deco and lets lots of light into the sparkling stone.
Stack it with a modern channel yellow band, or an antique platinum half hoop, or alone - she is glorious from every angle.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.
