We know how popular these are (and how much harder they are getting to find). 15ct - that amazing carat of gold - only made by two countries (that we know of - UK and Australia). This piece is Australian - that amazing "15CT" gives us that time period and location. 15 carat gold was phased out in 1932 and thus it makes it a collector's dream. This ring would originally have been a little wider and probably with softer half rounded edges - but it has been worn in a stack - and so it now has flatter edges. This does not affect its integrity - it still has plenty of width and thickness - it just has a more angular profile. This ring would be perfect to add to a stack - it has the rosey hue and with those more angular edges it sits up nice and close to other rings.
Particulars:
Size Q or just over 8 (sizeable but given there is no more 15ct gold - you might want to leave it as is)
Weight 2.20g
Width 2.15 x 1.65 tapering to 1.5 x 1.3mm
Hallmarks "15CT"
Condition - this ring has had companion wear over its nearly 100 years of life - this makes it skinnier than it originally was. We have had the edges softened - but it is still a taller thinner ring - ideal for a stack.
Care - As a general rule - jewellery should not be worn for strenuous tasks that may put pressure, chemicals and weight on them (think cleaning, gym, carrying things). Jewellery should be checked every six months by a jeweller to check for wear.
Please be aware that this item is pre-loved and therefore is NOT new. Please see the pictures and description to ensure you are happy with it before you buy. FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.

As well as Afterpay and Paypal Pay-in-4 which are available at checkout, we also do traditional lay-by.

Valuations
Some of our items come with valuations we either got with the piece, or that we have had done by an independent gemologist. We do not get valuations done on all pieces as we like to keep things as affordable as possible. However, we use a number of instruments to help us determine stones and list these details in the description of each piece.
