Some of you might remember this ring - it came to us with a shallow synthetic blue spinel. Well when this great moss agate stone materialised it was a match made in heaven. Moss agate is an amazing stone - firstly for those amazing inclusions and this particular stone looks like flying over a delta with tributaries and rivers running through the sand. Moss agate has also been long worn as a talisman by warriors as it has always been a gemstone associated with strength and courage.
This fabulous ring was made over 60 years ago when the cocktail ring was the rage! She is a great low set ring (well for a cocktail ring anyway!) and with four brand new chunky claws this ring is ready for its new life. Held in a fabulous strong four claw setting, with hearts in the gallery and gorgeous wide stepped shoulders - this is a ring to take with you to every cocktail party and event.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.
Current prices are: $40 for sizing down, $40 for rhodium plating (all white gold rings), and sizing up starts at $50 - and depends on the carat of gold, width of band and number of sizes. These are subject to change at any time and remain linked to the volatile changes in precious metals.
Time frames - sizing is usually complete within 3 weeks.

However, we use a number of instruments to help us determine stones and list these details in the description of each piece.
