High carat gold like this just shouts to be seen - the deep buttery patina and that glow - it is almost luminescent in its deep rich glow. At almost 100 years old - this magnificent and chunky band has withstood a century and come out remarkably unscathed. Some minor surface scratches - but the fabulous half round curve and the chunk all remain. Likely worn alone there are minimal signs of companion wear (where another ring rubs against it).
High carat gold like this glows, add the amazing patina and life that this band has gathered, and it literally feels like Gollum's "my precious". It calls to you, it wants loved and stroked and worn. And that amazing chunky shape - it is indeed someone's "my precious" to hold onto for a new lifetime of life.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.
Current prices are: $40 for sizing down, $40 for rhodium plating (all white gold rings), and sizing up starts at $50 - and depends on the carat of gold, width of band and number of sizes. These are subject to change at any time and remain linked to the volatile changes in precious metals.
Time frames - sizing is usually complete within 3 weeks.

Lay-by is available on all full price items (sale items can be bought on a split payment).
