The second we saw this ring we knew we had to have it - amazing angular structural shapes that give a really architectural feel to this ring. We love the angles, the stack-ability, the width of the stones and the finger coverage this offers.  Then make those stones natural sapphires-  and we are smitten.

This ring came to us with five synthetic yellowy-grey spinels - and we knew that our graduated selection of sapphires would be the perfect combination for this stunner. These sapphires dance in blues and flicker in yellows. Stones like this tend to hail from Montana - how do we know this? glad you asked. There are a few places on earth that yellow and blue sapphires form together - Australia, Montana and parts of Africa (this is vague as they are literally discovering pockets as we speak). Montana partis tend to be paler than the Australian and African - so we think that these colours are more Montana in their hues. This amazing parcel came to us from the Bangkok gem fair - boy, do we wish we had got there in person - but maybe next year! We had been on the search for more sapphires in the 3-5mm range and this parcel was one we just had to have - in every shade from sage to lavender and even indigo. We are thrilled with the colour matching of these stones - all vibrant in their teal blue - and those flickers of yellow as you move your hand are such good reminders of how these amazing natural stones were formed.

Angular and architectural in the metal, against the rounds of the stones - we love the contrast. This is mirrored in the colours - the cool hues of the stones against the warmth of the gold.

Stack this or wear it alone - it is a statement either way.

FAQ

Sizing

What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.

We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.

Current prices are: $40 for sizing down, $40 for rhodium plating (all white gold rings), and sizing up starts at $50 - and depends on the carat of gold, width of band and number of sizes. These are subject to change at any time and remain linked to the volatile changes in precious metals.

Time frames - sizing is usually complete within 3 weeks.

Lay-by

Lay-by is available on all full price items (sale items can be bought on a split payment).
