Victorians made star set jewellery a trend - the celestial guiding bodies as part of the symbolism and also a great and secure way to hold stones in a flatter style of ring - this style has withheld the test of time and the Victorian star set has remained a form of revival jewellery through the decades.
This vintage 9ct star set style ring is - based on the hallmarks- likely Australian, at least 50 years old and maybe even older based on the colour of that rosey gold. In fabulous condition for its age - the settings are crisp and engravings are clear. The trilogy of stones (a fantastic representation of your past present and future) sit in a higher section of rose gold. The carved raised edges and the hand carved shoulders show the care and attention put into this ring.
Set with three vibrant garnets this ring sings with the rich autumnal fires of red and orange. Some garnets are dull and dark (and quite frankly give this amazing stone a bad name), but not these firecrackers. Against the rich rosey gold they really are a fabulous pairing of Autumnal hues.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.
Current prices are: $40 for sizing down, $40 for rhodium plating (all white gold rings), and sizing up starts at $50 - and depends on the carat of gold, width of band and number of sizes. These are subject to change at any time and remain linked to the volatile changes in precious metals.
