We love a silver watch chain - and when that chain is a great wearable length, has two great working swivel Albert clasps, a removable t-bar, and a couple of fabulous vintage hallmarks - we are smitten. This chain is likely American - based on those "STERLING" hallmarks on the inside of the matching swivel clasps.
The chain is a great classic curb chain - at 4.75mm it is lovely and substantial - but not too weighty round the neck. The t-bar does not slide along the chain - instead it attaches to a clasp or can be removed - making it super functional.
Chains of this length with clasps in good condition are getting harder and harder to find and with the price of silver only set to climb we know they will only get more scarce.
Particulars:
Length 51.5cm with further 3.5cm drop to t-bar
Weight 37.1g
Width 4.75mm curb chain, 22mm clasps,
Hallmarks "STERLING" on the inside of both clasps
Condition - great patina build up, clasps work well, excellent vintage condition.
Care - As a general rule - jewellery should not be worn for strenuous tasks that may put pressure, chemicals and weight on them (think cleaning, gym, swimming/spa, carrying things). Jewellery should be inspected every six months by a jeweller to check for wear.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.
Lay-by
As well as Afterpay and Paypal Pay-in-4 which are available at checkout, we also do traditional lay-by.

Valuations
Some of our items come with valuations we either got with the piece, or that we have had done by an independent gemologist. We do not get valuations done on all pieces as we like to keep things as affordable as possible. However, we use a number of instruments to help us determine stones and list these details in the description of each piece.
