THE most classic of halos. Made globally famous when Charles proposed to Diana, but this classic style has been around before it - and it is no surprise. The nautical colour combination, the diamond halo is such a classic style, and the use of diamonds and sapphires - two of the most hardy stones on the planet.
This amazing ring was made in the 1980s - but when we discovered her she had a very scratched and chipped synthetic pink sapphire as her hero stone. So patiently she waited with us, while we found a centre stone big enough for this ring with such presence. The sapphire is a very spready 2cts - which is amazing for a few reasons - it keeps the cost down - a 3-4 carat stone would require more bank; and second - the colour - the light dances through this shallow stone and you get the most glorious beams of blues as the light catches her.
Set in a halo of natural diamonds claw set in 18ct white gold, the glistening of this beauty is second to none.
We adore mixed metal - and when it is chunky 18ct gold mixed metal we are even happier. The yellow gold shoulders rise to meet the edges of the halo and we love these hints of rich buttery gold.
Yes - she will stack like a dream - for those of you looking for her for THAT reason.
Independently valued in 2025 for $11,500 AUD - comes with the purchase

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.

As well as Afterpay and Paypal Pay-in-4 which are available at checkout, we also do traditional lay-by.

Valuations
Some of our items come with valuations we either got with the piece, or that we have had done by an independent gemologist.
