Emerald cut teal perfection. This stone comes from a collection of stones that two gentlemen built up over 30 years. Travelling the country, fossicking and cutting these amazing stones remain a legacy of what the Australian bush and some grit & determination can produce. Most will remain as a collection, but a few will be lucky enough to get set - like this beauty.
This stone is teal perfection - the hue is amazing with hints of inky blue, vibrant sea greens and ripples of navy. Also in this stone features the most amazing inclusions of silk needles that give an almost veil like appearance to a section of the stone. In some lights it is not there at all, and yet when the light hits it, the amazing sheen of white jumps out of the stone. Often heated out in mass produced stones, we love that this is a symbol of this stone's origins - hand fossicked, hand cut, all natural and slow - and we are SO here for it.
Set in the most glorious trilogy - to represent your past present and future this fabulous mixed metal beauty (circa 1940s) features two milgrain set diamond side stones. We love the diamond shape (so confusing to use the same word for the shape and the stone) of these side settings and the details of those milgrains that are still so clear.
Set on a plain yellow gold band - we love the mixed metal of this ring and the fabulous new stone (replacing a synthetic sapphire that were all the rage in the Era) is ready for a new lifetime of love.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.
Current prices are: $40 for sizing down, $40 for rhodium plating (all white gold rings), and sizing up starts at $50 - and depends on the carat of gold, width of band and number of sizes. These are subject to change at any time and remain linked to the volatile changes in precious metals.
