Antique 15ct Gold Fancy Link Patterned Bracelet, 17.2g, 17.5cm
Antique 15ct Gold Fancy Link Patterned Bracelet, 17.2g, 17.5cm
Bracelets like this do not come along very often. Wonderfully old, gorgeous buttery 15ct gold, intricate pattern AND in fabulous condition. This amazing bracelet feels so much newer; but the tell tale hallmark on the clasp - the still crisp "15ct" tells another story. 15ct Gold was popular in Victorian (and Georgian times) but by the mid 1930s it was no longer in use and that means that this gorgeous bracelet is a minimum of 90 years old.
The pattern is a delight, gorgeous curves of gold that are mirrored in themselves and meet with a raised ball. The links are solid and move beautifully against and with each other, so this bracelet literally hugs your wrist. At 17cm she is not for those with larger wrists, she is from an era of little women with tiny fingers and dainty little wrists. With a fabulous clasp that is literally part of the bracelet, it is strong and secure and it will happily grace your arm day and night effortlessly.
Feel free not to buy this beauty - we all know I have a massive soft spot for 15ct gold and they just don't get better than this.
Please note there are links for a safety chain, but no safety chain attached - because she is so nice and snug, the safety chain would have to be quite long to get it over a hand. The clasp is very secure - but should you wish to add a safety chain at a later date - it can easily be added.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.
