Sometimes we have champagne tastes and beer budgets. We would all love a statement sapphire ring of three carats - but these are often well out of budget. Well, we found the most glorious array of natural unheated large sapphires - and because they do not have the clarity of "those" sapphires - these stunners are statement pieces, with the strength of sapphires, and priced in the semi-precious range - such a win.
If you have seen "The Princess Bride" then you will understand how we feel when we look at this stone. Buttercup describes Wesley's eyes "like the sea after a storm" and this is what we see at every turn with this stone. The deep brooding ocean and the grey clouds that hangs across the sky. We love the way that this beautiful big sapphire has those white linear inclusions that do remain and the colours of the blues meld around them.
Held in a strong four claw setting with a raised filigree gallery - this awesome vintage (likely Australian) ring is a delight.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.
Lay-by
As well as Afterpay and Paypal Pay-in-4 which are available at checkout, we also do traditional lay-by.

Valuations
Some of our items come with valuations we either got with the piece, or that we have had done by an independent gemologist. However, we use a number of instruments to help us determine stones and list these details in the description of each piece.
