Unheated Sapphires

When looking to shop for sapphires - 95% of the world trade in sapphires are heated. These are done before stones are cut to remove impurities and increase colour. We have been so fortunate to find a large number of stones and rings, and because of the hand fossicked and hand cut history of them - thanks to amazingly devoted amateurs to the gem fields (plus the way the Australian market has grown). This means that these stones are not only rarer, but more valuable - some as much as double their heated counterpart. 

All pieces in this section have been verified unheated by our gemologist.
