With gorgeous buttercup petals it is easy to see why this was such a winning style of ring. Fabulous protection for the stone in the petals, the multiclaw setting, the height that allowed light in and the petals that bounce the colour and light around - all such winners. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThis amazing ring bears the hallmark \"SILVER\" which was most commonly used in the USA (and other countries - although not Australia or the UK) and only prior to the 1970s. This fabulous mark tells us this ring was not made in Australia and is well over 50 years in age. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eWe love a rhodolite garnet - those rich winey pinks and purple jam hues. The stone is hand cut and the colour disperses in bursts around the edges (like a fringe) rather than through the middle like a modern cut stone. It is deep and dark and wonderful.
