Vintage Natural Ruby and Diamond Halo, 18ct White Gold, size M1/2 or 6.5 with valuation
Vintage Natural Ruby and Diamond Halo, 18ct White Gold, size M1/2 or 6.5 with valuation
This amazing natural ruby and diamond halo ring was made pre 1973 and is likely Australian made (based on the hallmarks). With a glorious oval ruby in the centre whose natural inclusions are like a weave of delicate silks running through the interior she is deep in her red and pink tones There is some surface wear to the ruby - please see the photos - but due to the gorgeous woven inclusions in the ring they are not as visible. Held in a simple four claw setting, this beauty is surrounded by 10 round brilliant diamonds in the most perfect halo. The shank is rounded white gold and the sloping shoulders rise into the cluster, one pointing north, and the other south. The basket is high, so a wedding ring would sit perfectly next to/ under the cluster - making this the perfect choice for an engagement ring.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.

Valuations
Some of our items come with valuations we either got with the piece, or that we have had done by an independent gemologist.
