Vintage Mid Century Coral or Driftwood Statement Ring, size R1/2 or 9
Vintage Mid Century Coral or Driftwood Statement Ring, size R1/2 or 9
Now when we found this in the scrap (I am going to pause to let you take that in...) i could not get over the feel of this ring. The smooth intricate lines I ran my finger over were captivating. Just look at her profile and the underside of her - and we can see the amazing craftsmanship that was needed to create this beauty. Built up of what appears to be three was carved sections this ring is mesmersing from every angle. Whether you see driftwood or coral, the detail is intricate and the pattern carefully considered. This amazing piece found here in Australia was actually made in Canada - by a company that appears to no longer be around - but appears to haven been around in the 1960s and 1970s. This would make total sense - becuase this rustic architectural masterpiece is exactly what we might expect of a late mid century modern piece of jewellery. At 15.38g this beauty is the heaviest gold only ring we have ever had - and no question is she worth it.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.
