Vintage 8 Claw Blue Zircon Ring, 9ct Mixed Gold, size 6.5 or nearly N (front width might make it feel smaller)
Vintage 8 Claw Blue Zircon Ring, 9ct Mixed Gold, size 6.5 or nearly N (front width might make it feel smaller)
You know how we feel about blue zircons - they are just the most magical stones. The most perfect shade of blue they are the pale crisp blue sky of a dawn, or the colour of a swimming pool in a Hollywood film. Making them even more magical is their sparkle, the second most lustrous stone in the natural stone world. And fianlly, they are rare or collectors pieces - because their name is confused by those who are not into jewellery as being the same as the horrid cheap man made cubic zirconia, they are not a widely used stone.
This fabulous stone is in lovely condition - and its setting is perfect for it being a zircon. They are not as hard as sapphires and diamonds so they do get more wear - but held in an 8 claw buttercup type setting is ideal. The claws have some wear - one in particular - but given the stone does not we imagine this has been replaced at some point in its life.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.

As well as Afterpay and Paypal Pay-in-4 which are available at checkout, we also do traditional lay-by.
