Fabulous Antique 15ct Gold Brooch, 15ct Rosey Gold, 4.71g
Fabulous Antique 15ct Gold Brooch, 15ct Rosey Gold, 4.71g
Brooches like this were so en vogue in the Victorian Era and the early part of the 1900s. And if you look at the amazing detail in this amazing bow brooch, you will see it was a much loved possession. The construction of the bow is magnificent - wonderfully three dimensional and perfect in its dimensions, the bow is chunky and life like. Then we move to the engraving, the most amazing hand engraved floral patterns - that are still so crisp. The floral pattern on the looped sections are then copied in the tassels - but the leaves creatively split just like the ribbon ends. The clasp is original and features a built in safety catch, it is stiff to close and open - but with this weight of gold, and craftsmanship you do not want to risk losing it. The perfect brooch for a jumper/ jacket or to be used as an extender/ feature on your chains.

FAQ
Sizing
What do we mean when we say a ring is "sizeable"? Well, most standard rings can be made bigger or smaller by up to three letter sizes. If we say the item is "moderately sizeable", this usually means about 1 size, and if we say it is "not sizeable" or that "sizing is not recommended" it will be due to the construction - it could be age related, pattern related, have enamel etc.
We can happily help with sizing of rings, so please do get it touch if we can give you a quote.
