It was a watch chain made of brass or copper alloys plated with silver. You will see by the photos that there is a brassier colour, but it is still old and super cool. It has patina and tarnish build up - we have cleaned it but not had it polished - A - it removes some of the plating - and -B - we like our pieces to look old. Spinner does spin - but it can get stuck.
